Samuelson’s 21st Century Summer School

Samuelson students participated in summer programing during June and July.  Students rotated through five classes including a science class on volcanoes, reader’s theater, math games to improve math facts and mathematical thinking, social skills, and physical literacy.  Classes were taught by certified Samuelson teachers.  Samuelson was one of the recipients of the “21^st Century Community Centers” grant.   This grant will provide before and after school programming during the 2013/2014 school year.  Before and after school programming will begin on September 16, 2013.  More information on signing up for the before and after school program is available in the office.
