Samuelson Annual Walk-a-Thon
Samuelson PTO is sponsoring a Walk-a-Thon to raise funds for PTO activities, including purchasing I-Pads for our classrooms. Thanks to generous support from our school community, the PTO has recently purchased the walking track, classroom furniture, and 10 I-Pads. School staff has requested the PTO’s help in purchasing 36 more I-Pads, so each classroom can have four (4), along with “apps” for the units.
Walk-a-Thon Details!
Tuesday, September 24: Packets come home with students. Students start collecting donations for walking 30 minutes on the Samuelson Walking Trail.
Friday, October 11: Each grade will walk for 30 minutes on the Walking Trail to demonstrate that fitness is fun! Donation envelopes are due today.
Prizes!!!!
All students who raise a minimum of:
- $10 earns a Samuelson Color Change Pencil!
- $40 earns Samuelson Sunglasses and a Samuelson Color Change Pencil!
- $75 earns a Limited Edition Samuelson T-Shirt, Samuelson Sunglasses and a Samuelson Color Change Pencil!
- $100 earns a Lunch Pizza Party with the Principal, a Limited Edition Samuelson
T-Shirt, Samuelson Sunglasses, and a Samuelson Color Change Pencil!
All students who raise at least $100 will be entered into a drawing for one of two $50 Target Gift Cards!
The Top Earning Classroom in each grade will win a Popcorn Party!
Grand Prize: The Top Earner will win an I-Pod Shuffle and $15 I-Tunes Gift Card!
Completed Packets with all donated funds must be returned by Friday, October 11 to be eligible for the Prizes.
