1st Grade Family Literacy Night

Attention first graders and their families!

We would like to invite you to the Samuelson First Grade Literacy Night at the Franklin Avenue Library on Monday, September 22nd from 4:30-5:30 pm.

This event is designated to help make families aware of all the services and programs the Franklin Avenue Library has available for them. During this drop-in program there will be:

– A scavenger hunt to help kids find the different sections of the children’s area

– A craft to promote literacy learning

– Library card sign ups

– Staff members available to answer questions about the library

If you are interested in getting a library card for you or your child, please bring in your photo ID and proof of your current address. Children can get their own library cards when they are five years old. Parents with library cards must have an account balance that is less than $10 in order to get their child a card.
