YMCA Water Safety
The John R. Grubb YMCA is committed to helping the kids in the Des Moines district learn how to swim and be safe in/around water. With individual swim instruction, free time in a shallow-only pool, nutrition education and fun physical activity, our hope is that the students who attend our S.A.W. program will exit the program knowing more about swimming and making healthy choices regarding food and personal habits. (Used to be called CATCH) Snacks will be provided. This program costs nothing for the students.
