Samuelson Principal Search Update & Next Steps

Samuelson Families,

I want to provide an update on the hiring process for the next principal at Samuelson Elementary and thank you for your continued engagement in this transition.

Over the past few weeks, we have gathered valuable input from staff and families through a stakeholder survey, helping to identify the qualities and priorities most important for Samuelson’s next leader. Your feedback has been instrumental in shaping this process.

Yesterday, we held in-person interviews, using this input to guide our questions and ensure candidates addressed the key focus areas identified by the Samuelson community. The interview team has recommended candidates to move forward to the next step—a final interview with Dr. Roberts, Superintendent, and Dr. Lundin, Chief Academic Officer. These interviews will take place the week of March 24, and once a decision is made, I will follow up with you on the announcement and next steps.
