Libby Foster (she/her)
I graduated from Central College in 2012 where I earned a B.A. in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading, Art and Coaching. During my 10 years living in Pella, I taught and coached volleyball in Knoxville and Pella. I am excited to be the art teacher here at Samuelson! Outside of school I enjoy spending time reading, visiting with family and friends, and exploring Des Moines- parks, trails, libraries, restaurants… we have a toddler who keeps us busy!
My name is Tam Ho. I will be Samuelson Elementary Physical Education Teacher this year.
My wife’s name is Oanh, we live in Des Moines, and have two boys attending Des Moines Public Schools.
In my free time I enjoy golfing, fishing, and spending time with my family.

Hello, my name is Rita Rasmussen and I a super excited to use my teaching experience with the kindergarteners at Samuelson. Working with young children is my love and passion and it is my “dream” job. It is my goal that each child entering the classroom will know that they have the potential to do great things.
